diddi dance Cannock Chase, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield & North Walsall recently took part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Dress Up and Dance campaign and raised an amazing £410 with the help of all their current diddi dancers!
Natalie & Dawn who run diddi dance Cannock Chase ran the charity campaign in their classes from 26th to 30th June encouraging all participating diddis to get moving and grooving in aid of the charity’s Dress Up And Dance campaign.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a fantastic charity that provides all kinds of support to children and families affected by cancer. They help with financial worries, medical information, emotional support and much, much more. They’re also constantly campaigning for better cancer care for all because no one should face cancer alone.
We asked Natalie how the week went and how she felt about the amount all her classes raised and she said,
We have absolutely loved our Macmillan Dress Up and Dance week! Any excuse to dress up and have fun all whilst raising money and awareness for a great cause. Macmillan do an incredible job and by having the chance to help raise awareness for them is something we could not miss. All our parents and children across our classes have been fantastic in joining us in their fancy dress outfits for this great event! Everyone’s support and generosity has blown us away. Thank you all so much!
Well done to Natalie & Dawn and all the diddi who took part in dressing up and dancing that week. Here are a few images to show how much fun everyone had!
